To “leave the castle” is to leave your comfort zone. It’s not that a castle isn’t a good place. It’s just that it’s way smaller than the rest of the world of what’s possible. I like to remember that. Regardless of how familiar it may seem, or how much experience I think I have with something or someone, everything is an experiment. Be uncomfortable. See where it leads you.
