Production Assistant

On participating in Vagina Festival 2008:
The Vagina Festival feels like a big party where everyone is included, even the shy girl who always sat in the corner. It's a space to hear things that may not have been heard before, and a place to say things that I haven't had the courage to talk about before. The Vagina Festival is full of potential and spice! The women, artists, speakers, and performers are what inspires me to be part of the Vagina Festival.

About Jessica Smith:
I'm fresh out of college, and ready to dive into this with all cylinders firing. A small town girl, this big city has taught me plenty of lessons. My interests spin around topics like institutional power structures, the effects of said structures on our minds and bodies, and how to discuss and evade (and foil) the negative effects of living within America's culture and society. (And how we can embrace the positive!).
