Sandy Kim

On participating in Vagina Festival 2008:
I love the idea of being a part of a festival that celebrates women and encourages real dialogue!

About Sandy Kim:
I am a recent graduate of a phenomenal 2 year program with the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts. What I thought was going to be a fun and creative outlet for me, quickly evolved into an all consuming passion. I am working on developing and growing as an actor so that I can continue to have the privilege of connecting with others through this beautiful craft. I just finished a fantastic independent short film called "Desperation" by T. Billi Martin and am working on a feature film called "the Children of Hip Hop" by Antonio Delacruz.  Last Spring I made my stage debut in a one act play showcase which solidifed my desire to pursue theater. My dream is to be able to marry my passion for acting with my passion for Diversity. I am proud to say that most of my work has been with filmmakers and artists who are women and/or people of color who are working hard to make sure that we have a strong voice and are no longer invisible in this space. I am grateful to my husband Ernie, parents, 4 legged family and acting teachers Beth Baur and Bob Sapoff for all of their encouragement and love. I am eternally grateful to Hadassah and Suzanne for taking a chance on me and helping me to grow. Peace!
