Sarah Kasten

Role: WIFE
Sarah Kasten

On participating in Vagina Festival 2008:
It is an honor to be able to share through the beautiful language of art the experience of being a woman. I am thrilled to be given this opportunity to contribute to a festival of such importance.

About Sarah Kasten:
Sarah recently moved to NY from Napa, California and is now working toward her MFA in acting at New School for Drama. She has to remind herself why she moved away from warm sunny skies to the cold crowded city but it's opportunities like this that wash away any doubt. This beautiful and powerful story written by Jessica Hinds under the direction of Joan Kane has been a joy to tell. Sarah received her B.A. in Musical Theater from California Lutheran University. Stage credits include Learned Ladies (Belise), CLU (Irene Ryan Nomination); Threepenny Opera (Lucy Brown), Thousand Oaks, Civic Arts Plaza ; Mozart in Love (Cherobino) CLU; Oklahoma! (Laurie); Hamlet (Ophelia). Many, many thanks to the support of loving family and friends.
